Additionally, I am a qualified applicant because I stand for community service, knowledge, responsibility, and ethics. As a student that volunteered in order to give
I am applying at Archbishop Mitty High School because ¬it has a history of high academic excellence coupled with a competitive sports program. Mitty has an excellent reputation from what I hear and their sports teams are well regarded. I have gone to their sports camps so I have a good experience and a good glimpse of how Mitty and their sports teams will be like. I am currently aspiring to be on the Basketball team and I am going through different coaching camps to be a better basketball player.
It would be amazing to meet new students and encourage them to attend not on The University of Alabama, but also make the Culverhouse College of Commerce their academic home. It is so important to invest in the lives of others, and you never know what impact you can have on a life. By simply being an ambassador, I have the ability to greatly impact someone’s future career. I struggled with choosing a major, and I understand how difficult of a process it can be. I am sure that if I toured Culverhouse initially it would have been my first choice.
I honestly feel blessed to be able to attend this school and I am glad that my supervisor recommended me to apply. Attending Pacific Oaks College and pursuing a B.A. in Elementary and Special Education fills me with a profound sense of excitement and anticipation. The reputation of Pacific Oaks as a prestigious institution that emphasizes experiential learning and social justice aligns perfectly with my passion for inclusive education. I am thrilled to immerse myself in a supportive and progressive academic environment that values diversity, equity, and the holistic development of each student. The prospect of engaging with faculty who are experts in the field and being part of a close-knit community that shares my dedication to fostering inclusive classrooms fills me with a sense of purpose and
The four pillars of the National Honor Society consists of leadership, scholarship, service, and character. These characteristics must be possessed by an individual in order to be a member of the society. I believe that I possess all the these four qualities and should become a member of National Honor Society. Leadership is when someone has a positive influence on people and brings out the best in them. I am a leader of the junior class student body as being a member of student council.
All throughout high school I have obtained a GPA of 3.5 or above and have worked hard to earn that GPA as well. Earning a GPA of 3.5 or above may seem easy, but as
As you can see my academic performance is deep rooted with a solid foundation. I have maintained my GPA while volunteering at religious programs, and participating in other activities such
Although my grades were not always consistent, I never earned less than a B for a final grade in my English courses. Often my instructors privately told me that my papers were the best in the class and shared my work with others. My writing secured me a free trip to London and Paris with my business club as well as my acceptance into multiple colleges. I am certain my extracurricular activities, including cheerleading, volleyball, community service projects, fundraisers and employment also played a vital role in these accomplishments. Of all the schools to which I applied, only VSU waitlisted me probably because of my phobia about standardized examinations, which caused me not to perform as well as I should have on the SAT.
This GPA and ranking comes from being a dedicated worker in all of my classes. I have taken 4 honors classes over the past two years and I am in 2 this year. I plan on being in more honor classes next year along with some AP courses. My grades are
Moreover, I have worked very hard throughout high school to better myself and those around me in the many ways mentioned above. I also serve as a role model, both inside the classroom and out, by pushing myself to accomplish goals even I do not always believe I could, always respecting others and listening attentively to the opinions of people around me, and making an effort to enrich the lives of others. I am hopeful the National Honor Society will help me develop this further, and thank you for taking hte time to read my application.
My interest in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. sparked when I met Sheila Hudson. At the time I had no idea that she was an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. What I saw in Shelia Hudson was a smart, accomplished, proficient women who completely shattered all of my preconceived expectations of what I thought a sorority girl was supposed to be like.
Ever since i was able to talk and walk I have been a die hard IU fan and now that I am a senior i am one step away from possibly attending my dream school. As an undergraduate i plan on pursuing a business career that would allow myself to reach and receive a Bachelors degree with a major in Business Operations while obtaining a Marketing Minor which will authorize me to move on and reach my goal of owning my own business in more specific terms owning a Chick-Fil-A. Ive been working at Chick Fil A since I was fifteen and have recently been promoted to the management team which I am very humbled by since I am only sixteen. I am very blessed to be a part of this corporation which has taken me on trips to leadership summits and have shown me better ways to lead my team and communicate.
As a past collegiate athlete, I am a proven leader with a formidable record of exceeding goals and expectations (specifically under pressure). Additionally, I have always had a way with words and still enjoy the art of articulate
I made sure to start this semester off on the right foot by planning by days out better, avoiding distractions, and not taking on more responsibilities than I can handle. I am focusing this semester on improving my GPA, because it is important to me to graduate above a 3.0 and do well in my classes. Everyday I think about that grade I received, but I won’t let it define me. I messed up, and there is no one else to blame. I know that at the end of this semester when I receive that improved GPA, I can look back at how hard I’ve worked and revel in the pride while looking forward to my continuing success at UW
It is always held in such high regards, and they greatly encouraged me to apply. My goals have always been to use my degree to get into a reputable company as a mechanical engineer and eventually my final ambition would be to create my own successful firm with my colleagues. I believe that a degree from this university will best set me on this path of success.
