Iago is the reason behind Desdemona’s death Even though Othello killed his wife
Desdemona. Iago was jealous of Othello’s position, his wife and he was jealous of Desdemona’s love for her husband Othello. Because Iago was in love with Desdemona as well. In the play “Othello” by William Shakespeare Iago is the one who causes tragic events, his jealousy leads to exterminate all characters in the play. Iago seems pretty jealous because he state that he hates Othello because he passes Iago, over for a promotion, giving "one Michael Cassio" the job as his military lieutenant instead. Iago believes that Othello gives Cassio position even though Iago is better than Cassio. After all Iago decides to destroy Othello, his love, and position. Iago starts to make plans for Othello’s down fall.

Because Othello was actually convinced by Iago. Iago plans to make Othello believe that Desdemona has power to be devious with himself, and she is having affair with Cassio. He also lies to Othello that Desdemona had sex with Cassio. Iago is playing intelligent plan because he knows no husband one to live with a wife who is cheating on him. Iago also know how much Othello loves Desdemona and what dangerous things Othello would do if I will convinced Othello. Iago has very strong jealousy behavior, and his jealousy is leading him to a point where he end up losing his friends Othello, and his crush Desdemona, and also ends up killing his wife Emilia. Jealousy is just dangerous disease. Jealousy damage the trust tower your friends or partner. There should not be a jealousy in the true love or friendship.
