Women all throughout history have played a crucial role in advancing the United States both economically and socially. Ida Tarbell does qualify for one of the many women who have influenced the rise of the United States altogether. Her actions and roles have greatly changed the way women are perceived in society. Acting as both a journalist and a worker of the Standard Oil

Without her doings, the public wouldn’t of been as interested in the production provided. Her actions and roles, including working with the Standard Oil Company, only added to her vital personale in society as far as economically and politically.
