Women all throughout history have played a crucial role in advancing the United States both economically and socially. Ida Tarbell does qualify for one of the many women who have influenced the rise of the United States altogether. Her actions and roles have greatly changed the way women are perceived in society. Ida Tarbell was a huge historical figure in the fact that she transformed the ways of the
Standard Oil Company. Without her friends and family to help and guide her with her decisions, she would not have been as successful as she once was. She also shed light for future women in the views of historical value and the perserverance a women should have in order to be a successful figure in business and marketing.
