Identity is defined by a person’s culture. One major component that determines a person’s identity and is apart of the person’s culture is their familial life. In the play, A Raisin In The Sun by Lorraine Hansberry Mama is very close to her family. This comes from the beliefs that she has gained through the many years that she has been alive.
