Living begins at the ends of roads you know. It is important to step out of your comfort zone, and find adventure in your life. In “The Hobbit” by JRR Tolkien, we read a story of adventure that can be related to our own lives. As Frodo embarks on a journey to help 13 dwarves reclaim their homeland from a gold hoarding dragon, he recognizes the value of identity. Throughout the adventure, Frodo is the only Hobbit in site. He gains a sense of who he is as an individual, and what he is capable of. We can apply this to our lives by associating with various people instead of sticking to a selective group.
