We are all People on this Earth When walking down the street, may it be in your home town or on vacation, do we look at the people we are passing? If we do not, we all need to stop and take notice. We need to notice that we are all people and yes we are all a little different. We have different ethnic backgrounds, race, and color. In the end though we are all People put on this earth and we are supposed to get along. This is a familiar issue for my family. Immigration is a large part in many areas of today’s society. Even though we have heard it from many people that we were all at one time an immigrant here, people put this to the wayside. His ideas that have been proposed are to aid in the help of families staying together. If we are able to remove the felons and the “bad people,” this would leave room for families and our youths to grow in America as the Home of the Free. I agree that the majority of the immigrants came here illegally and that is not acceptable, but how can we punish them and deport them and never give them a chance to see freedom when they have sacrificed so much just trying to get over here and risking their lives for what we have every day…Freedom. Many believe that freedom should only be granted to legal immigrants. Immigration is one of the largest controversies at hand with politics and America in general today. Amnesty is the best option both for the 12 million illegal immigrants living in the United States and for the United States economy. The punitive requirements against immigrants were added to legislation to insulate it from criticism that amnesty is forgiveness without consequence. Immigration helps everyone, and Congress should be doing everything in its power to make it as easy as possible for immigrants to live and work legally and freely in the United States
