Poverty is, perhaps, the most pressing reason making people escape from their homeland. Having no opportunities to ensure one’s normal existence and being deprived of the most necessary things forces an individual to look for a better life somewhere abroad. For example, Vietnamese immigration started in 1975, because of the war in Vietnam and the takeover of communist North Vietnam. This caused fear, threatened and the safety of the people, so they began to escape Vietnam for their own safety.
