Sanjel is an oil and gas company where the majority of our employees work in the field, where computers neither are readily available nor is, internet connection. The industry is heavily regulated and field employees require compliance and regulatory training on an ongoing basis. The issue is, removing operators from the field, especially key positions, may bring production to a halt. To keep production occurring, and to meet regulatory mandates, it was brought to me to identify and create a solution. The solution was utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS) that allows for learners to complete training from a mobile device, without internet connection.
In future years the work we know and do will be changed. With current emerging technologies, such as the 3D printer, Wi-Fi, or mobile devices, jobs have already been impacted from what was done in the ‘olden days’ or before the introduction of these advancements. Three careers have been chosen to display how this information technology (IT) impacts on work, these careers being medicine, education, and journalism. They have been chosen based on how their careers have largely been positively impacted and changed because of these advancements. The examples below will demonstrate how IT has shown to be an overall positive addition to the work industry.

On Tuesday, October 27th at 7:30pm, I attended the USA Percussion Ensembles “USA Jaguar Drumline and Front Ensemble Fall Concert” at the Laidlaw Recital Hall. Despite all these reasons I said some people still think that school should be cancelled. Most people want school to be cancelled because they want a break or just do not want to go to school. Despite all I said remote learning takes less time and less challenging work to get the work done and put ready.
