Biodiversity is the variety of life that is living in the ecosystem. The variety here can include the different species of animals, plants, or any organisms that live and interact with each other on the earth. Basically it is like a cycle of the living organisms which are dependent on each other for survival.
Global warming is the condition of excessive emission of the harmful gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, chlorofluorocarbon and other pollutants to the atmosphere that can lead to the greenhouse effect which can cause the gradual increase of earth atmosphere’s temperature.
These two terms here are inter-related to each other. Usually, the main concern is about preventing the global warming in order to preserve the biodiversity. The factor that is needed to be taken care is the global warming and the result is the preservation of biodiversity. To make this clear, if global warming can be prevented, the ecosystem will survive.
But, how about changing it to the opposite way? What if we say, in order to prevent the global warming, we need to conserve the biodiversity? Will it work? It might or might not make sense. Actually it works both ways. It is like a cycle, both can be the cause and also the effect. In this report the importance of conservation of biodiversity in order to solve the global warming problem will be discussed.
