Children of every family and every class of the society do perform some work. However this type of work does not make them a child worker. But actually the working child is one who, before attending a specific age and physical maturity engage himself into working condition which obstruct his/her mental and physical growth. There is no universally accepted definition of child labour. Every agency has defined the child lobar in different terms and age criteria. Government also passed various acts has defined child labour. Most often the work is not too hard and the children are not depriving of their basic rights. They have proper food, shelter and cloth to survive. These types of working children are always be a part of our tradition. But now this idea of working child is changed. The evidence indicates that the problem of child labour emerging in newer forms as the condition of children is undergone. We move into the second decade of the second millennium. The decade brings the problem of child labour. The root cause of child labour is a result of big families and poverty. The fight against the problem of child labour is a huge challenge. The issue of the problem of child labour in India always attracted the attention of different national, international and social organizations, social scientists, social activist and governments. Because the child labour is easy to access and they may cheaper then adult labour. Globalization is rise in economic activities such as export industry, which leads to an increase in the demand for cheap labour.
