The significance of college education to entrepreneurs Rauch and Hulsink (2015) believe that entrepreneurship education could boost the current population of entrepreneurs, thus increasing the growth rate of the economy. (p. 187). In addition, they state that entrepreneurship education should spark the interests and excitement of people toward entrepreneurship and also stimulate their enthusiasm in involving themselves in entrepreneurial behavior. Educating people merely on business planning without further application isn’t sufficient. Alternatively, the goal of entrepreneurship education should be to encourage people to pursue entrepreneurship as a career in which they can have a future full of opportunities. Thus, “entrepreneurship education needs to move beyond knowing and understanding and begin to apply otherwise theoretical concepts to the real world.” (Neck and Greene, 2011). Petridou and Sarri (2011) believe that education has undeniable importance in enhancing entrepreneurial perceptions and attitudes within society and within young prospective entrepreneurs and in developing skills for establishing a business.
