The theoretical for a defined construct of moral integrity included three components as follows: Discernment: refer to ability to think about and weights what is morally right from morally wrong. This requires moral reflectiveness on the meaning of good and bad as well as how that meaning applies to self and others. There are included the ability of person to draw conclusions from thinking to develop convictions and ability to think independently to decide what the mosttruly and deeply believes to do the right thing. Consistent act: refer to ability to continue doing on those convictions that reliably across time and situation. It also means resulting feelings are strong with convictions even in fact of adversity. Public Justification: refer to the ability of person be confident in the knowledge in their thinking right, doing right and share their moral conviction with others publicly.
The conviction and believe that related to moral integrity in professional nurses
In nursing profession, the standaard professioal values in nursing practices are based on principles of virtue, ethics, and code of professional conduct. Religion, culture, human rights, and the Nursing and Midwifery Profession Act.
