Personal Narrative: My Microsystem

My grandmother was teacher by profession. She was always there to help me and guide me with the school and social work. My grandmother used to go extra miles to help her students in their problems. As I was inspired from her I also began helping people and being available for them in time of need. However at times I used to get frustrated but then she was there to support me and to advise me on difficult situations. Her student circle was large and constituted of people of different culture and religions. She was the one who taught me to respect other’s point of views.

As my personality is the outcome of social life I have. I have grown every day and have learned a lot not only from my culture but also from the interaction of people from different cultures i.e. from my immediate daily environment (Boon, Cottrell, King, Stevenson, & & Millar, 2012). My microsystem has greatly influenced me. My friends, my school, my college and my family have intrigued the love for culture and above all the love for humanity. The macro system with which I am being surrounded has made me the person who I am my beliefs, thoughts and ideas. The commerce and industry of London, its mass media, and government agencies has initially made me the person who I am today but with increased interaction from different cultures I have shaped my personality and my way of thinking (Guhn & Goelman, 2011). Various events and people and their ideas have ignited an optimistic approach within me and have increased my love for humanity. Moreover, increased interaction and knowledge about the people of different culture have increased my passion to serve the humanity and heal the people who are in pain. It also motivates me serve the humanity and spread love and peace in the society and reduce the amount of hatred. It also makes me think why we all can’t celebrate love, what a great idea would be if nationality would be earth and cast would be humanity and ethics the religion.
