Life originated in water and the ultimate basis of it, the protoplasm, is a colloidal solution of complex organic molecules in a watery medium (70% to 90% water). Most of the biological phenomena take place in water medium. In the early days of chemistry, water was known as the universal solvent due to its ability to dissolve anything it comes in contact with it. So as rain falls through the atmosphere, flows over and through the earth’s surface it is constantly dissolving material. Therefore water supplies have a natural variety in quality, which depends largely on its source.R-S Humans depend on this resource for all their needs of existence. Thermoelectric Power water use is the amount of water used in the generation of electric power in thermal station. The source of heat may be burning of fossil fuels, nuclear fission or geothermal. Fossil fuel power plants reuse water. They generate electricity by turning a turbine using steam power. After the steam is used to turn the turbines, it is condensed back to water by cooling it. The condensed water is then routed back to the boiler, where the cycle begins
