According to the internet it at least takes a few weeks to fall in love with someone. Romeo and Juliet knew each other for 5 days, so how could they have been “in love”? There is no way Romeo and Juliet were in love when they had known each other in 5 days. Therefore, they never “fell in love”. Romeo and Juliet were two teenagers who were claimed to have fallen in love although they barely knew each other. Romeo and Juliet were impulsive, Romeo had just gotten out of a relationship and they had only known each other for 5 days. Romeo and Juliet were extremely impulsive. Romeo and Juliet get married the next day after they met each other. They had known each other one day and then they decided to get married. “These violent delights have violent ends, And in their triumph die, like fire and powder, which as they kiss consume: the sweetest honey Is loathsome in his sweetest delciousness. And in the taste confounds the appetite: Therefore love moderately; long love doth so; Too swift arrives as tardy as too slow.” This is a quote from Romeo and Juliet from Friar Lawrence, who marries Romeo and Juliet. This shows how impulsive they are because they had met one day and deicided to get married the next day. They barely knew each other and they just decided out of the blue to get married. People date before they get engaged and once people are engaged they get married after a span of time. Keeping in mind Romeo and Juliet were never engaged nor married. This goes to prove Romeo
