The first way the Nile shaped ancient Egypt was by influencing settlement location. According to (document A), the map of Ancient Egypt circa 1500 BCE and,the settlement are next to the river and it provided water. Second there are in the farmland. The last thing I noticed is that some of the settlements are close to each other so they can trade.The reasoning to this is that the Nile river caused the settlements to grow and the farmlands too. The Nile river gave the Ability to trade with sea traders on the Nile.

More food meant that they were able to go sell crops and help build their economy
