“A doctor’s visit,” I complained to my mom. Americans despise having to drive twenty minutes to the doctor’s office, while there are patients who are desperate for medical help although their best chance is miles and miles away. Inaccessibility to health care is something that we, as well-privileged individuals, are unaware of. We have the luxury of visiting the doctor for a routine check-up, but there are people who are suffering life-threatening diseases and never get to avail the medical help they urgently need.
