"Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare has many themes within the book. The main one being the Inevitability of Destiny. When the Chorus starts describing Romeo and Juliet as "star-crossed lovers". That automatically shows that fate has the power over their relationship. You can attribute their fate to them meeting and fall in love. Fate led Juliet was the daughter of Romeo's family’s enemy. Yet love was able to grow despite the feud between the two families. However the most important instance of where fate takes place in the play happens when Romeo misses Balthazar, where he carries on the news of Friar Laurence's arrangement and Juliet's “faked death”, just to arrive and kill himself in a harsh spot of destiny since he supposes Juliet …show more content…

Their sad choices are the most raised, most intense statement of affection that they made throughout the book. The only way for them to save their love was through suicide. In the book, it stated, “their affection is profound to the point that they will end their lives with all due respect” (Romeo and Juliet). Throughout the play, love rises as a disrespectful thing. In this case, “Romeo and Juliet” affectionate encounters show up so flawlessly that few would need, or be capable, to oppose its powerfulness. Romeo and We can find the theme of the forcefulness of love. Love being the most forceful and dominant theme within the play. The reader could imagine the passion that Juliet and Romeo have a first sight. Their love has been defined as overpowering, violent, and exciting. Throughout the play, the couple has to against their social world. In the book it says “Deny thy father and refuse thy name,” Juliet asked, or if thou will not, be but sworn my love. And I’ll no longer be Capulet” (Romeo and Juliet). Love is the most the important theme is the play. Shakespeare shows the strong nature of love. In the play, these are no other love as strong as Romeo and Juliet. We are even able to see Juliet’s transition to a woman to her teenage girl mindset. Shakespeare teaches the power of passionate love,
