In Mrs. Dooley’s 4th hour Pre-Algebra class, the students are going up to the smartboard one at a time to answer the questions presented. The students critique each other on their graph points or how to fill in the table correctly. Mrs. Dooley didn’t tell the students to critique one another, this just happened on its own. Each student who had the incorrect answer, had another student come to the board, and explain to him or her the correct answer. This action among the students is MP3.
Observation 0:05 (Ch.1) Picks up a small cup dipping into water and emptying, she then picks up a smaller container repeating the same action. Ch.1 states “This is a tiny cup, this is tiny cup” She scoops water from small cup into a slightly larger container. Ch.1 observes another child standing to her left complete a similar process. Ch.1 is holding a purple plastic scraper in her left hand. 0:17 (Ch.1) is asked by the Ed.
In the picture, a mouse pulling a rope that is tied to a piece of cheese is shown. Another rope is tied to the cheese and that rope led to a switch, which turned on a fan. In front of the fan is a boat. When the fan turned on, it blew the boat across a little tub which it was placed in. Tied to the edge of the boat was a nail.
Pre-Professional Observations When it comes to treating PTSD, many forms of treatment have shown to be effective in treating symptoms associated with PTSD. Perhaps not just one treatment should be used. Avoidance to focus on the actual trauma and determine how the treatment impacts one cognitively (such as Prolonged Exposure Therapy) symptoms may reoccur even with coping strategies are put into place.
Hi Laddies, MR did well last week a few days we had tantrums and aggressions but we were able to overcome those and have a great week overall. MR was very motivated by the jellybeans I had in my bag and was very willing to work for them to earn. He did really well when running the yes and know program using jelly beans for yes and no something not preferred. I plugged in most of the data but ran out of behavioral sheet so some of that data has to be plugged in. The stars near the programs mean I ran out of the data sheets which I did not plug in.
He made two minor balls. He put them on the smaller balls, and he covered the spoon with ropes. Then he put away the spoon. He took the colouring book. He turned the pages.
He goes to the bookshelf and gets a book. He sits with outstretched legs on the floor near the bookshelf. He looks at the pages. He turns the pages, creating creases, one by one using his right thumb, index, and middle finger.
Anecdotal notes are pieces of information collected during interactions and observation of young children, or even adults. An example of anecdotal notes are written notes and video. Some advantages of anecdotal according to Chance is that "it is vital information to to effectively plan for individual children in the classroom" (Chance, 2012, para. 3). Anecdotal notes also educators to look back at what they wrote, saw, or heard to form a opinion later on. Observation of Angel: Angel is a little boy most likely around the age of three.
The three different research methods are naturalistic observations, surveys, and case studies. A naturalistic observation is when someone is observing people or animals in a natural environment or set. A naturalistic observation would be good to use when you observing people in a a cafeteria. For example under appropriate conditions, you can observe the amount of people who naturally order healthy food verses unhealthy food. Naturalistic observation are good only if you take the time to observe people in their natural environments.
I walked in to the department of social service in Portsmouth Virginia, to start my observation about the facility. While walking into the facility I was greeted by two security guards that nodded their head in a gesture of saying good morning. I made a right turn into a room full of people sitting and standing, the people that was standing were in a line that started with a piece of tape, taped to the floor stating do not go any further or stop. Then the receptionist hollowed out loudly, next in line. A young female African American lady was next in line and dress very casual in a sweat suit and tennis shoes, her hair was in long braids.

One year there was a group of fresh 7th graders coming to middle school. They didn’t know what to expect but they were confident. It is the first day of school and Jacob Barlo was getting ready to catch the bus to school. Jacob has never road a school bus before besides going on field trips in elementary school. He is nervous that he missed the bus or he is in the wrong place.
The experiment will be conducted twice to separate groups to eliminate hypothesis suspicion. Participants in the yellow paper condition will stay seated in the classroom, meanwhile the participants in the white paper condition will wait outside the classroom. Before starting the experiment, participants are given the consent form to complete. At the start of the yellow paper condition, participants are told they will be reading a paragraph about photography techniques and will be answering a follow-up questionnaire regarding the reading. Readings on the yellow paper will be administered to the participants and are given 3 minutes, starting from the last person to receive the reading, to read.
Students will learn what goes first, next, and last. I will demonstrate by making a peanut butter sandwich. The students will learn by emulating what they saw. This will allow them to participate in hands on activity. Students will enjoy making and eating their assignments.
I observed a Caucasian family of four that includes both a mother and father, a 2-year-old girl and a 4-month-old girl. I would describe this family as higher middle class with both parents having good jobs to support the family of four. When I did my observation of the family, they were in their home in a higher end neighborhood. During my observation I looked at different key components from class that I could relevant to the family such as the way that I observe the family, the different theories of development with behaviorism and social learning that is being displayed during my time with the family, also looking at their sleep schedules. That way that I decide to go about my observation is the naturalistic observation approach.
