My grandma is a viking. Well not exactly, but without them I would most likely not be here today. If the vikings never explored west and found Iceland, where my grandma was born and raised. Then meeting my grandpa because he was stationed there for being a U.S. Marine. From there they fell in love and my grandma got married and then came to the U.S. and you probably can guess the rest. The real question is, why would she leave such a beautiful place like Iceland? Iceland’s volcanoes have caused the loss enormous amounts of money. Newsweek’s article published on October 15, 2014 claims that one volcano that erupted in 2010 caused thousands of flights to be canceled resulting in the loss of billions of dollars.
