The popularity of chiropractic practices has not been able to eliminate the myths that surround it. However, times have changed for the better as chiropractors are becoming accepted in many places. Even so, there a few myths about this practice that need to be explained if we are to truly appreciate these professionals.
1. Chiropractors are not doctors, at least not real ones.

Contrary to popular opinion, chiropractors are licensed and recognized medical professionals all over the word. 3. Medical doctors are against chiropractors.

There may have been animosity between the two medical experts in the past but this has long been resolved. Doctors may have looked at chiropractors as an inferior group as shown by the leadership of 1940s American medical association who referred to them as cute and playful but lethal. However, these strong sentiments have changed over the past two decades as the significance of chiropractors has been felt in areas where conventional medicine failed. This is a myth that has seen many people shy away from real help. You only need to visit a chiropractor until you are well again. This is never a lifetime commitment.
