That theory is correct but not all the time. If you are committed and a competitive figure skater you must practice every day for at least 2 hours. Scientist and history has proven that if you skate everyday you will progress faster and become an overall stronger skater. Some people argue that you can hurt your body by doing that and you will be doing more harm than good. That is incorrect. If you do off ice training as much as you skate you will be working all of your muscles and not just specific ones. The most popular off ice exercises are ballet, strength and conditioning, and dance. Others think that, that’s all you have to, do but they are again, incorrect.
