The Television show “Pawn Stars” is an American reality TV show on the History Channel. The show is set in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Gold and Silver pawn shop. The shop is family owned and operated by Richard Harrison, his son Rick, and grandson Corey. “Pawn Stars” is currently one of the History Channels most popular programs. Many people enjoy watching “Pawn Stars”, for it gives historical information about items that are bought into the shop, the haggling over the price of the items, and the interaction and antics between the proprietors of the shop. The historical aspect of “Pawn Stars”, is the first thing that attracts people to watch the show. People are fascinated to know more about history. People desire to know more about what life was once like in past times and places. The interaction that occurs between the shop owners is something that the several viewers may find entertaining to watch. For instants, in the episode “Sink or Sell” Cory buys an old boat without first test driving it, and the resulting argument is one of the biggest in the show's history. Some people may find this kind of conflict fun to watch. There are also times when someone at the shop buys an old gun or even a cannon, and then the shop owners will go out to the desert and test fire the new gun or cannon. From time to time they even have shooting matches to determine who the best shot is. Now and then someone at the shop will buy a car or a dune buggy. In the episode “Looney Dunes” both Rick and Corey buy a dune buggy after which they go to the desert and race agent each other.
