Why are humans the real monsters? Firstly, the fact that we are capable of thinking and creating such horrifying things like monsters, shows how the creator is just as, if not even more monstrous than the monster he has created. Secondly, the destructive way that humans behave reflect on monsters. Finally, some people might believe that monsters, like humans have a good side to them.
To be able to dive into this topic more deeply, I will need to define what a monster and a human being is. In areas of civilization, some of these emotional muscles are considered good, but some are considered bad. An excellent example would be from the Frankenstein video (Web links for January 23rd) we watched for homework. Frankenstein could have thought that there was more to the world than being a monster after his master opened a window that let sunlight into the lab.
