Millions of people across the world suffer from allergies just like Kim, and I’m sure that there are even a few people in this room, like myself, that suffer from allergies. To combat these symptoms and serious risks that come from allergic reactions, a person can undergo a treatment known as allergen immunotherapy, or AIT for short.
I would like to inform everyone of what exactly allergen immunotherapy is, who qualifies for it, and what the risks and benefits are. I would like to start off with what is probably the most important aspect, what allergen immunotherapy is.
