I hope that my first post gave you a better understand of Reiki and Align: Internal Architecture. This post will allow you to see how I uniquely addresses the common reiki service; distance healing, house clearing and animal reiki! It's a long post, I know, but it's worth the read :)
Distance Healing
Aside from a traditional Reiki hands on session, I also offer distance healing sessions. Simply put distance healing allows a client to be anywhere in the world at any time. These sessions are my favorite! I think distance healing is such a wonderful way for a client to truly see the magic behind the body's ability to heal. Animals are very emotional beings, they cannot communicate the way we do, so they react to energy. I am sure you can think of a time when you were sad and your family dog came over to lick your face, or the cat came over, purring, to rub against your arm. Animals are very in tune to subtle shifts of energy. Animals often pick up on the stress of their owners before the owners themselves realize it's there.
Reiki is wonderful for rescued animals because we often do not know their history. Sadly, many of them distrust humans because of mistreatment and become aggressive, deeming them ‘mean’ when in fact they just need help with realignment so they can connect with and trust humans again.
In a session, I work from the cues of the animal. If the animal allows me to hold it, I often do, if not I allow the animal to decide the space and position for the session. Some animals are very receptive and will come lay down in my lap, even fall asleep for a 45 minutes session. I have had others only allow 10 minutes before they become restless. The animal takes what it needs and leaves what it
