Smoking and drinking are the most common culprits that catalyze the growth of cancer in the vocal cord of an individual. Add to this, contaminants and dust and the magnitude of the tumor grows at a surprising pace. Chewing tobacco, smoking tubes, exposure to asbestos, unwholesome diet and poor dental hygiene have also been recognized as leading reasons for throat cancer. Males are two times more susceptible than females and have higher chances of contracting throat cancer once they are past 45 years of age. The numerous kinds of cancer that are classified under throat cancer are: Nasopharyngeal
Some of the early signs and symptoms of lung cancer are a persistent cough, shortness of breath, bloody sputum, loss of appetite, and unintentional weight loss. Recognizing these signs and symptoms gives a better chance for diagnosing lung cancer at an early stage when the treatment is more effective than in later stages (Ohio Department of Health, 2010). Sometimes it is harder to recognize the sign and symptoms in smokers than non-smokers due to already having chronic coughing or hoarseness due to smoking. Having regular follow-up with a physician may help to diagnose the lung disease or lung cancer at an early

How is the cancer is related to the related to the cell cycle checkpoints? This is how. The process is right at the heart of the cancer. Which is controlled by the a lot of complex series. With signaling pathways where the cell grows and copies DNA then divides.
Skin cancer is a very dangerous disease, but if you are careful and know your facts, it can be easily avoided. During this speech, I will tell you about Skin cancer, what it is, why it is so dangerous, and how to prevent it. To start, what exactly is skin cancer? Lung cancer is commonly called the 2nd most popular cancer in both of males and females, and also the top reason for cancer death, based on the American Cancer Society. When you actually think that cigarette smokers are the only part of the human population who are prone to lung cancer, then you definitely are wrong. You might be surprised to discover that 20% of lung cancer deaths are individuals who do not actually smoke. Exactly like second-hand smokers who accidentally inhaled the smoke cigarettes in the air.
More and more people have cancer these days. It is almost like the plague that no one wants to talk about, and it keeps getting worse. • In the early 1900s, one in 20 developed cancer. •
Cancer is a general term used to describe the abnormal growth of cells which attacks different parts of the body or organs. A tumor, also called neoplasm, can be characterized as an abnormal mass of tissue which may either be solid or fluid-filled. Not only can a tumor becomes cancerous, it can also be benign (not cancerous), pre-malignant (pre-cancerous), or malignant (cancerous). Sooner or later, all of us will have encountered cancer, either through an acquaintance or by acquiring it ourselves. Humans become better equipped in dealing with it in the future if we have a small idea of what goes on in cancer patients’ lives. This topic is also important because it helps build character and shows us not to be insensitive. Looks can be deceiving and someone who looks fine, may not be. As well, this topic allows us to put ourselves into the shoes of someone who has cancer and truly realize just how hard it is to have everything you have known change in a split second due to something you have no control over.
STOP SMOKING Smoking has been reliably linked to cancer for a long time now. Smokers run the risk of developing lung, throat, mouth, liver, kidney, and stomach cancer, as well as a host more. Even those that inhale smoke - which is where most of the cancer causing chemicals can be found - passively can develop extreme cases of cancer. As such, reducing and eventually quitting smoking can act as a positive preventative method. 2.
The Cancer Research United Kingdom (CRUK) said that “The main way that smoking cause’s cancer is by damaging DNA; it affects genes that protect against cancer. This makes it even more likely that damaged cells will eventually turn cancerous” (CRUK 1). The smoke contains chemicals that cause an increase in DNA mutations. There are over seventy chemicals in cigarette smoke that have been proven to cause cancer. Smokers are also less able to handle toxic chemicals than those with healthy lungs and blood.
Worldwide, tobacco use causes about 90% of lung cancer deaths, 30% of all cancers, 20-25% of coronary heart diseases and stroke deaths, and more than 80% of chronic bronchitis and emphysema”. (Jordan 1). Secondly not only does it affect smokers but even people who don 't even partake in the activity of smoking cigarettes. Second hand smoke is a serious issue and can cause cancer almost easy as being an actual smoker can.
According to the Mayo Clinic, “Doctors believe smoking causes lung cancer by damaging the cells that line the lungs. Once cigarette smoke is inhaled, which is full of cancer-causing materials, changes in the lung tissue begin almost instantly.” 2. In the beginning if you don’t smoke as much, your body can repair the damage, but over time it can lead to irreparable damage.
