Something like this made us think about what we need to do to keep our freedom safe “The aftermath of the tragedies of Sept. 11, 2001, made America redefine freedom and security”(Airlines security policies post 9/11). Airport security around the nation had to make major changes. The first thing they changed was that ID name and picture had to match what was on your ticket. This made sure that no person could sneak onto an aircraft.
So Joshua told the Israelites to march around the city without saying anything until the day he says, “Shout,” according to the way God had commanded him. So the Israelites marched around the city day after day without saying a word. There was absolutely no change to the walls of Jericho even after the sixth day. Now, it was the seventh day. The Israelites rose early in the morning and marched around the city just as before, except this time they circled around seven times.
The USA put more air marshals on flights, and first class curtains were taken down. After 9/11 all 75,000 employees at airports had background checks. In all, airport security systems all around the country were required to be updated by the time another flight was ready. Another way airport security

I. Introduction A. Attention Getter: Tuesday September 11th 2001 started off like any other day. Men and women prepared themselves for another work day and school children settled in their seats for a day’s lesson. But before the mornings of people’s everyday life could begin, a tragic incident occurred, killing thousands of American citizens and breaking the hearts of many more. B. One moment it was a normal day and the next moment will forever be ingrained within the minds of an entire nation. The Tragedy of 9/11 Introduction/ Thesis: The tragic events of 9/11 resulted in a fundamental landmark in America because now airlines and the government are strongly regulated, and even billions of dollars were involved to fix the crisis. 1. The causes and effects of 9/11 on America and its people On september 11th 2001, I was in preschool when the first and second plane hit. My dad was at work, and my mom was on the way to drop off my sister at her school. Now the question is, where were you? The hijackings
The attacks of September 11, 2001 on our country was one of the most tragic and deadly days in our history. Heath Brake 5-14-23 American History II 9/11 Laws and Regulations If someone were to ask, “where were you when the planes hit?”, most people could say exactly where they were or what they were doing. September 11, 2001, is a day Americans will never forget because it was the largest terrorist attack on United States soil. Not only did the attacks kill around three thousand people, but they also had long-lasting effects on the country. President George W. Bush declared war on terrorism around the globe and Congress passed new laws and regulations to help fight against future terrorist attacks.
The terrorist attacks on 9/11 have caused many debates over the years since they occurred back in 2001. Two American planes were hijacked and ran into the twin tower buildings, another was hijacked and headed for the pentagon, but thankfully never made it. Thousands of Americans lost their lives on the days of the attacks and to this day the sorrow hangs with us. Security was a huge debate of the time because America is supposed to be the safest nation there is, so how did this happen? America had lots of changes to make the attacks on September 11, 2001.
It showed that even the most powerful country in the world was subject to attack. This attack exposed the vulnerability of the United States as a nation. The 9/11 attacks changed the country forever; some lost family members, friends, and those who survived are forever hunted by the events of September 11, 2001. The entire country was in pandemonium including my family.
These attacks were a changing point in American society because it increased the security in American airports, started a war in Iraq and Afghanistan,
The terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, left a lasting impact on America, taking the lives of many and scaring others. On this day “ teams of hijackers from the Islamist terrorist group al-Qaeda seized control of four American airliners,”(Corbett et al., 2014) three of which would later crash, killing nearly 3,000 people. In the aftermath of the attacks, the United States government passed a series of laws and regulations designed to prevent future attacks and protect American citizens. While there has been some criticism of these measures, they have still indefinitely been more positive than negative to American society. The laws and regulations have improved national security, improved intelligence gathering, and promoted greater international
