Breast Cancer does not discriminate - too often the lives of loved ones are interrupted or cut short. Breast cancer, the second most common cancer among American women, affects about 1 in 8 women born in the United States and is responsible for more than 40,000 deaths annually. This October, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we remember those whose lives were cut short by breast cancer. We must raise awareness of this disease and the measures help prevent this devastating cancer from claiming any more lives.
