The innovative and sustainable redesign is a constant need in higher education. This need is due to rapid changes in technology and rapidly fluctuating diversity in students. The majority of American adults believe it is very important to get a good job and earn money, yet many difficulties keep them from going back to school or even continuing after high school (Lumina Foundation, 2013). With today’s economy, many students have been forced to put off or give up on school altogether but 72% of adults in the US think it is important to have a degree or certification beyond high school (Lumina, 2013). There are two main issues that prevent students from returning or continuing with higher education, one is affordability.
