In a 2005-2006 comic book series of Batman, his Batmobile was an undercover car. Eveyone at the time thought it was just a regular car. This car is a 1961 Chevrolet Impala and Tan Eng Huat was the person who had come up with this idea. Batman: Journey Into Knight, is about Batman in his early stages of starting off his career. There was a pleague that was spreading throughout the city but he had then went underground and used this particular Batmobile. To those people who thought it was a regular car, they were wrong. This 1961 Chevrolet Impala had a few little gadgets to go with it. August 25, 2009 Batman: Arkham Asylum was a video game that was released for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Paul Dini wanted to bring back the old Batman actors and use their voices in the game. The actors and actress include: Kevin Conroy (as Batman), Mark Hamill (as the Joker), and Arleen Sorkin (as Harley Quinn). The Batmobile was first seen in online gaming on the PC. Later on, the creators of the game leaked a photo of the Batmobile sitting in the Batcave on the Playstation 3. This Batmobile draws inspiration by the 1989 Batmobile. It had the same gadgets that also included: louvered rear panel, cowled exhaust port, rear inlets, and side details. This Batmobile was featured in the comic book series, Batman and Robin #1. It has a very colorful look and can be considered a futuristic car. This car is now flight capable because the plans for the Batmobile were now perfected. To switch the Batmobile from street mode to flight mode, the fenders unwrap and extend to form wings. The rear fins stretch to become vertical stabilizers and with these little adjustments, the car is also capable of hovering. The car can now use vocal commands, has some degree of autonomy and is armed with precision missiles. It was destroyed in issue #13 of Batman & Robin after taking fire from men armed with bazookas and crash landing outside of Blackgate
