The majority of this book is his journey up the mountain. I feel this book overall shows the types of conflicts and survival they had to go through during his journey. All of the characters faced different types of survival. I am going to talk about how they had to overcome natural conflict. ¨I timed my moves between various blasts of wind, which were becoming more frequent the higher I climbed.¨
Imagine the sight of an open blue sky, trees growing, and warm dry grass moving briskly by the air. And, in front of this scene, there is a wonderful endless pit, stained by blood and some partial limbs. The whole world has just decided to jump off a cliff, because why not escape the dark gripping fears that life holds? Society has darred and pushed each other off to this dark encasing hole. Sure it will hurt, but only for a little bit, right?
In the story there are also smaller conflicts like the spiders who attacked Bilbo. Conflict plays a big role in The hero's journey, conflicts vary in number and importance, they're what keeps the reader on edge. Gollum is a stoorish Hobbit that meets Bilbo when Bilbo gets lost in the mountain. When Gollum sees the ring Bilbo found he threatens to take it from him.

Perseverance can lead you out of a quagmire when matched with the right character. This is shown in The Hunger Games. Katniss and Peeta exhibit their grit throughout the plot. The Hunger Games takes place in the country of Panem, a dystopian society that is located in North America. The Hunger Games is all about the survival of the fittest.
Simon met his fate, getting dismembered, Cato was cruelly devoured while Katniss watched, Rue was stabbed fatally, Ralph was ruthlessly hunted. These events all have exactly one thing in common, the brutality of children. Throughout the books Lord of the Flies and The Hunger Games, many ideas about human nature have been brought forth, they have been shown through characters, like Ralph and Katniss, through objects, like the representation of fire, and through events, like the degradation of civility throughout the books. So, what is being said about human nature?

The famous Roman orator and senator Publius Tacitus once wrote that “the more the laws, the more corrupt the government.” A corrupt system always tries to put restrictions and create laws in order to ensure that their power as an authority is not in danger of being disregarded. In Suzanne Collins’ renowned novel The Hunger Games, the Capitol is a corrupt system in Panem because it abuses its powers to control the citizens. It does so by forcing restrictions on the freedom of the people, favoring the rich and imposing harsh punishments.
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is a story about Katniss Everdeen who lives in district 12 with her mom and her sister Prim. Her sister gets picked for the Hunger Games which is where each of the 12 districts have to give a boy and a girl from the ages of 12-18 do fight till the death until there is one person standing. This is because there was an outbreak against the capitals thats why there is the Hunger Games. Katniss volunteers do her sister and now has to try and win the games. One theme in this story that is shown is that family love can go along way, this is shown because she is very overprotective of Prim.
