It is already a common occurrence for International students to study abroad. For most students and their families, safety is the most important thing they care. However, more and more news of the recent disappearance of female students who studying abroad make all students fearful. The article “ 'Nobody saw this coming': Arrest in Chinese scholar's disappearance stuns U. of I. community” is about a missing case of a Chinese student. On June 9, 2017, a Chinese visiting scholar in University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign named Yingying Zhang disappeared when she got into a stranger’s car because she just miss the bus.
