Chris McCandeless was a young independent man who lived for adventure. He traveled across the country from Atlanta, Georgia to Alaska, but found that he wasn’t prepared. Eventually, he passed away due to his lack of judgment. I disagree with the choices Chris McCandless made in his life, which were questionable and at times reckless. Chris McCandless was a carefree man who, at times, had poor judgment. One example in the story of Chris being impulsive is, “she tried to give him a little money for helping.but he wouldn’t take it. ‘he eventually took it to shut me up’. ‘but the day after he left I found most of it in the van’, ” (Chapter five, page 46)This quote shows how Chris makes incautious decisions because he refused to take the supplies
