Almost everyone grew up knowing more than one fairytale, it a just part of childhood that almost everyone remembers. People, mostly women, once believed that fairytales do exist and they would find their happily ever afters when the time comes, but then again, as they grow older, reality would come knocking. It is a fact that not everyone get a chance to live their happily ever after just like in fairytales, that is why the film industry made it sure to make people feel once again. In this article, we will be tackling about films that are based in different fairytales, but then again, these films took a brave turn for changing bits and pieces to make these childhood stories even better.

Into The Woods tells the story of different fairytales by Brothers Grimm and Charles
Perrault combined into one. Like Cinderella, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, and Jack and the Beanstalk. The story is tied together that starts with a childless baker and his wife and their deal with the witch to have their own child, they meet the different fairytale characters along the way to help them. Disney adapted the film version in 2014, with a star-studded cast of Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Emily Blunt, and James Corden.

SHREK

From a Broadway musical turned into a film, to an animated fantasy film, Shrek. Unlike any other fairytale inspired animated films, Shrek films is actually known to be a parody of all the fairytale stories. The films centers on an ogre who saved the princes and lived a happily ever after with her. Throughout the entire film franchise, Shrek focused on trying to be good enough for his princess and wishing to live a normal ogre life with her, throw in some bits and pieces of different fairytale creatures in the story, and it turned out to be an unusual fairytale twist that both kids and adults really
