Have you ever watched a movie that you wonder if it’s all true or not? In the movie Invictus there may be some parts in it that may look like Hollywood added, but most of the time a lot of the historical movies actually happened. I have watched this movie here recently and done research about Mandela and the movie. In this paper I will prove that the film, Invictus, was historically accurate by discussing the true historical people and events, summarizing the movie, and comparing and contrasting how the movie portrayed the true people and events. Nelson Mandela lived through an interesting time period in South Africa. In 1918, a young boy named Rolihlahla, which means trouble maker, was born.
