Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a condition that affects roughly 20 percent of the population in the United States, and it can be an ongoing challenge for those who suffer from this condition. All it can take is to eat or drink the wrong thing, or have an extremely stressful day, to set off digestive problems due to IBS. IBS can negatively affect a person, both physically and mentally, due its range of uncomfortable symptoms. A person suffering from IBS often experiences chronic:

• Diarrhea
• Bloating
Constipation
• Distention
• A burning pain in the abdomen
