Introduction The purpose of this report is to explain the impact the Australian Zoo and the Irwin family has on Australian tourism industry. There are many different types of visitors the go to the Australian Zoo. 54% of them are traveling in a family group, 78% are on an overnight trip wiles visiting Australis Zoo and 84% are on holidays or at leisure when visiting the Zoo. Over 75% of those on one or two night trip to the Sunshine Coast are undertaking the trip too specifically to visit Australia Zoo. By all ways making new enclosures such as the African safari park, keeping up to date with the new technology, building to the animal hospital, also by planning to make a 350-room luxury hotel and increasing there workforce of 2000 people. Bindi Irwin has all so taken to the role of being on TV like her father, by showing on her own TV show Bindi Island, dancing with the stars and the latest one I’m a celebrity get me out of here with her brother Robert and mouther Terri. This is because the national and international visitors are founding the Conservation project. This sustainable project successfully helping to protect many species including crocodiles, tigers, wombats, elephants and cheetah etc. So this meaning that most of the money they spend at the Australian Zoo is helping many different types of animals. This making the national and international visitors more interested in visiting the Australian Zoo. Conclusion The Australian Zoo has a great contribution to the Sunshine Coast tourism industry by the way Steve Irwin still has a great influences on Australian Zoo’s tourism. And the way the Irwin Family has kept the Zoo alive by still playing out what Steve Irwin had intended to do. And also by having the conservation project that the Australian Zoo that makes is have a big role on the Sunshine Coast tourism industry.
