I wanted to quickly e-mail you because I am interested in applying for one of these cubicles in South Murray Room 122. I believe that I will use the office space for research space, but also as a space where I can communicate with other history majors who I can ask for aid, or even offer aid to those who need assistance. This assistance could range to a number of things, whether it is with research or even to proofread other History essays (if that is what is desired). Additionally, I would be located right there in Murray, so if I needed to communicate with my professors, or any History professor for that matter, I can do so with relative ease. In terms of the final question, I feel like I have engaged with History department community both

Southeast Queensland was home to a number of aboriginal people who lived in extended family groups or “clans”. This formed part of the larger community of people – all who spoke the same language or dialect. All families had their own territory and a number of permanent camps were set up. Movement between the camps was planned and logical – all in relation to the changing seasons and new food sources. Logan city was the connection between two major language groups – the Yugambeh and Jaggera.

A variable is very often described as a name for a place in the computer’s memory where you are able to store any data that you wish. The computer will automatically place these variables in different locations each time that the programme we are loading is run however the programme that we have loaded will know exactly where the computer has placed the data. We are able to do this by composing a variable to refer to it and then leave the computer the messy work of having to find out where it is actually located. For us it is much more important to be able to know exactly what type of data that we will be storing at that location. Variables however are temporary and only exist for the amount of time that they are actually necessary and will then be disposed of.
Disadvantage and marginalisation of indigenous Australian 's began with the dispossession of land, displacement of their people, and separation of families. Indigenous Australian 's have difficulty in gaining access, to the same degree, to what white Australian 's have ready access such as housing, employment and general services. Indigenous Australian 's are one of the most disadvantaged groups in this country in social and economic areas such as employment, housing, income, and health. The burden of poor health among aborigines is of particular concern. The health disadvantage of indigenous people begins in infancy and continues throughout their life.
*explain why this is not enough*. About twenty per cent of Canadians live in rural areas, and about sixty per cent of these people access Internet through satellite or wireless services. In remote northern communities, the digital divide is even more pronounced. Approximately 32,000 residents in Nunavut spread across 1.8 million square kilometres and have the lowest quality of connection (). A staggering twenty-seven per cent of communities in that territory have Internet access.
20% Percentage by which Aboriginal Australians are more likely to commit offences of violence than their non-Indigenous counterparts (Korff,2016). The media depicts Indigenous people as trouble makers that begin violence. However, that is a false representation because they are many loving and caring Indigenous people in Australia. Just because one Indigenous person is into violence it doesn’t make it right for the media to portray all Indigenous people as violent trouble makers. 20 % of Indigenous people in Australis are violent because social media makes them feel inferior in their own country.
Diversity can be defined as the state in which people in a group have physical, demographic, philosophical or neurological differences. The item that I have chosen to make is representing the racial aspect of diversity. This is done through the use of The reason that I have chosen to explore this aspect of diversity is because it is particularly relevant to me and also, in general, in Australia, which is a multicultural country. Statistically speaking, Australia is one of the most culturally diverse nations in the world. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, 40% of Australian citizens are either immigrants or the children of them, while 15% of Australians speak a language other than English at home.
At primary school, I had many exposures to Indigenous cultural from history to art. In high school, some of my classmates were from Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander descent, they were friendly and super sociable, some of them became, leaders or organiser of social events like Movie Night. Media is a factor that I believe is disadvantaging Indigenous, but other is the location of Indigenous’s community being in rural locations (Korff, 2017). This makes it hard to access healthcare faculty causing a big gap between the Indigenous and non-indigenous health. Thus, during my studys, the topic of Indigenous health came up and the media opinion of the Close the Gap result annually was negative because of the lack of vast improvement (Hunter & Gordon, 2017).
