I wanted to quickly e-mail you because I am interested in applying for one of these cubicles in South Murray Room 122. I believe that I will use the office space for research space, but also as a space where I can communicate with other history majors who I can ask for aid, or even offer aid to those who need assistance. I recognized it as something I had read before, because I had used that web page for my own research.
I sent you an email ealier today about the Paul Revere internet assignment. There was a little blue clock on it with a "in porgress" pop up when I went to check if it was graded. As I engage this unit’s Read and Attend assignments, I find that my understanding of plagiarism is not as fully developed as I had previously thought. Our Unit 3 Attend assignment shares that “in a general sense plagiarism may be caused by carelessness” and these circumstances frequently precipitate the lack of care required while writing (Bethel University, 2014, p. 11). The academic integrity tutorial provided additional information which I found valuable as well. Common themes within each unit assignment provide strands of continuity, while assisting with a more comprehensive understanding. It is my opinion, the type of plagiarism that is hardest for me to avoid is “plagiaphrasing”, also known as “lazy paraphrasing” (Bethel University, 2014, p. 12).

Do you think because I missed some of your lecture on chapter 4 I will be completely lost, or will studying the power points in conjunction with the chapter and learnsmart be enough? I had an issues accessing learnsmart at first, but have found it extremely beneficial in my test preparations. I wish the issue were resolved before the first test; it really gives me a lot of confidence in my absorption of the information. Sorry for the long-winded email.
