No matter what situation someone is in, there is always a way to fix it. There are many literary devices/themes used in literature and films. They have many differences and similarities. In literature, the author will use language to describe the characters. On the other hand, in films, the actions and pictures will show how the character is as a person. Romantic conflict is a powerful literary device that allows readers to understand the concept of human relationships and the challenges essential in the pursuit of love. When Lily’s father passes away, she has no sympathy for his death because of how he physically abused her mother. When she gets back to Boston, she meets Ryle Kincaid, a neurosurgeon who has quite a temper. When Ryle asks her name, she says “I can feel his voice in my stomach”. That's not good for me.
