Every day he would get off the bus with Lily and shower. This worked because Lily's mom also worked late, so he had time to stay and do whatever he wanted. This started to become a daily thing. As Atlas started to come more and more often, Lily developed feelings for Atlas. She wrote to one person in her diary about Atlas, Ellen DeGeneres. She never shipped them to her; she kept them for herself. One afternoon, both Lily's mom and dad were home. Right before sunset, she heard her mother screaming a deathly scream. She ran downstairs to see Andrew hitting Jenny. They fought and fought right in front of her deep blue eyes, like seeing a bull attacking anything red. She grabbed a knife and yelled at her dad to stop, but Andrew slapped her. Atlas came running down, picked Lily up, and ran her to her bedroom.
