His conviction was for the murders of Bobbie Davis, her adult daughter, and her four grandchildren on October 21, 1994. He was to be executed on October 27, 2010, but was exonerated due to new evidence surfacing about Charles Sebesta, Anthony’s lawyer.
If it goes as scheduled, Texas will execute Jeff Wood next Wednesday for the 1996 murder of a gas station store clerk. The problem: It was a murder Wood did not commit. Wood is scheduled to be executed on August 24 for the murder of Kriss Keeran, a store clerk at a Texaco gas station. This is despite the fact Wood was in his car when Keeran was shot, and may have not known about the shooting until after it was too late.

Around 18 years old, Spreitzer was asked to leave home when he was involved in a horrific car accident. After leaving, Spreitzer eventually met Robin Gecht, where he joined his satanic cult. Due to Spreitzers’ low IQ of 76, many people believe this was a factor in why he was so easily manipulated.
OJ Simpson was married to Nicole Simpson. After years of a troubled marriage Nicole was allegedly having an affair with Ronald Goldman, both died on June 12, 1994 from multiple stab wounds. OJ was arrested, where he stood trial for the deaths of Nicole and Ronald on November 9th 1994. It took 11 months for the jury to reach a verdict. On october the 3rd 1995 the jury acquitted OJ of both murders.
Former St. Louis officer Jason Stockley found not guilty in murder case. On December 20, 2011 officer Jason shot and killed Anthony Lamar Smith after a police chase. Stockley and his partner Brian Bianchi, tried to stop Smith after a suspected drug sale in a parking lot. After being confronted smith decided to take off and after a three-minute chase throughout the streets of St Louis, Stockley and his partner decided to ram into the back of the victim’s car causing him to lose control and crash. After the car was stopped, Stockley and his partner approached Smith's vehicle, finding him alive.
William Tweed was a volunteer fireman in New York City around the late 1840s, but he also served as the alderman in 1852-1853. Then he was elected to serve a term on the House of Representives which he seved from 1853-1588. Tweed got a small group of men too help controll New York City 's finances, which they dispensed jobs and contacts in return for the towns people political support and also their bribes. But most resources were drained which historians believe could between the amounts of $30 million and could have been as much as $200 million. The reason O.J. was found not guilty of murder and acquitted in criminal court, but found guilty of the tort of harm and ordered to pay damages in the civil court lies in the structure of our legal system, in regards to criminal cases and civil cases. The distinct difference between criminal cases and civil cases provides further explanation regarding the O.J. Simpson case. Criminal cases deal with crimes against society. It is the government, not the victim, who brings action against the charged individual. In criminal cases, the penalties can include a number things including jail time.

On Friday evening, the body of teenager Robert "Bob" Sheldon was found at a park in eastern Tulsa, laying next to a fountain with a knife wound in his abdomen. Further evidence suggests that the Sheldon had been intoxicated. No arrests have been made yet, but police suspect that it was a gang-related crime. Investigators believe that more than one person of each party had been involved as well. One of Sheldon’s companions, who was questioned, Randy Adderson, did not prove to be much help for the investigators.
