When Jackie was young he was accepted a lot but when he became older he was less accepted. He got more hatred, Jackies life became harder and harder as he moved on with his life. Jackie Robinson was a great athlete and a good student also a good personhe was hated a lot but still didn't quit
Jackie Robinson Mentally tough, strong, honorable, a man strong enough to not fight back, this is Jackie Robinson. He was born as the youngest brother. Jackie Robinson is an unknown leader in the fight against segregation. Jackie fights against death threats, segregation and constant attempts to injure him. With the odds against him segregation deciding the country Jackie Robinson breaks the color barrier, not to mention all odds.
Jackie Robinson was an American Major League Baseball second baseman. He was the first African American to play in the major leagues in the modern era. Jackie Robinson was born January 31, 1919 on a carpet plantation near the town of Cairo, Georgia. He was the youngest of five children. Not long after Jackie's birth his father, Jerry Robinson, left the family in 1920.

In 1947, Jackie Robinson used his knowledge and athletic ability to fight for African Americans in the Major League Baseball Association. Throughout his career Jackie Robinson faced many challenges that he could have just stopped and gave up, but he pushed on for the right of blacks in his era. Robinson fought with his actions on the baseball diamond not physically or even with words, he could have talked some smack, he used his ability as an athlete to prove he should be able to play with the minority race. Life as Jackie Robinson was good in some places but bad in others; he still managed to keep his life stable and a on road to glory. Robinson also had to ‘Beat the Odds,’ to prove that he could play baseball for the Brooklyn Dodgers.
Jackie Robinson is perhaps one of the most influential person in African-American history. He absolutely changed the face and belief that only white people should participate in the Major Leagues by being the first African-American man to play alongside everyone else in professional baseball.. Not only did this change baseball, but the future for people of color. His exemplary courage he had shown to the world inspired many people such as Martin Luther King Jr. to strive for equal rights and opportunity for black people. Jackie paved the way to equal rights for African-Americans throughout his career by breaking the color barrier.
Jackie Robinson I have always admired Jackie Robinson and have always looked up to him as a hero. I played baseball for seven years of my life and during that time I have always loved the Dodgers. Furthermore, Jackie Robinson is an American hero for all colored people, African Americans especially. He didn’t care what people thought of him even though most people and players hated him, he just loved playing baseball and he was good at it. He fought through adversity and became one of the greatest baseball players of all time.
As Jackie Robinson once said “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives”. There is no doubt that Jackie Robinson has been one of most impactful baseball players to ever play the sport. For reasons such as pushing himself to reach his goals, facing many hardships, and being the first African American to play in the MLB, he has shown perseverance and been a role model to everyone. The first reason how Jackie Robinson has impacted society is how he worked hard to reach his goals.

That is why we chose Jackie robinson because he broke the boundaries of blacks and whites when he played major leagues and changed the world. Jackie Robinson broke the boundaries when he was the first black person to play in the major leagues in 1947 in April. Jackie Robinson was a hero because when he joined the Brooklyn Dodgers their were many people who threatened to hurt him and his family but he keep on playing because he wanted things to be equal. Jackie helped presidents get elected, get kids off the streets and into the most prestigious schools there is, and most importantly he broke the black color barrier in baseball. Jackie Robinson is one of the most influential people to ever live, he did things that people would dream about, he stood up for what he believed. Baseball was segregated at the time, but Jackie took an unbelievable risk, breaking the color barrier in the sport.
