Before coming to Full Sail University, I had encountered many obstacles. One in particular placed so much doubt in my mind and made me question if this was what I truly wanted to do, or who I wanted to become. Leave my family that is grieving over our loved one, or follow my dreams that my grandmother wanted to see being achieved? This was the hardest decision, each passing day tore me in two and knowing that both of you have doubts about this career choice, because you don’t see what it does and can do. What I’ve faced is similar to her, yet different as well this female artist started at the bottom and slowly worked her way to the top.

Pigs, people know them as a mammal that is always rolling around in mud and being lazy. But what some people do not know is that a lot of female pigs suffer in gestation crates for their whole lives inside factory farms. Gestation crates are very tight crates that are used for female pigs to be impregnated in. In America, gestation crates should not be allowed to use in factory farming because the crates are too small, they spend too much time in the cages, and female pigs are forced to be impregnated in the crate. Throughout my high school career, I was forced into many situations where I was challenged to connect with my peers and serve as a role model for future students. Whether it be my involvement in the school marching band, or helping students in community tutoring sessions, I have always made it my goal to better the people around me through my own efforts. Throughout my high school career, I have put forth my best effort to connect with my peers, transform individuals, and make a difference in my community. Joining the school marching band at the beginning of my freshman year of high school was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
High school has impacted my life in so many ways. High School taught me so many things, from personal relationships to creating a relationship with my education. As a freshman, I made a huge amount of mistakes and I regret doing foolish things, but I’ve realized, I was only maturing into the young adult I am today. Freshman year, I was out of focus and I was only trying to find myself. I would also prioritize other things and ignore my parent’s advice, where they would tell me to focus in school and give it my full attention.

Italian artists and writers wanted to bring back the values, teachings and the civilized culture and tradition left by the Greco-Roman era.
The members played a big part in this personal growth of mine, as well. I was shocked when random community members would come up to me to congratulate me on a win or ask how the teams are looking. It was important for me to be assured that they care about the things I was doing. These small conversations felt like an invitation for me to start and hold meaningful conversations with adults. Some of the greatest lessons that I have taken from high school are lessons that have nothing to do with the curriculum.
