Kolby Thomas Missouri History Ms. Gregory February 26, 2018 Frank James Frank James was born on January 10, 1843 in Kearney, Mo. The reason I chose him was because I feel like he is left out more because of his brother Jesse James. Him and his brother were both criminal but Jesse James is remembered more because of his violent killings.
1) Isaac Monroe Cline was born October 13, 1861. He was an outstanding meteorologist who worked for the Weather Bureau or now known as the National Weather Service. He grew up in Tennessee with his two parents, Mary and John and his brother Joseph. He attended Hiwassee college. His first real job was as a priest.

In the late 1700s James Ramsbottom investigated a death of a store owner who feels like a cold squirrel to touch, he uncovers a really old black spoon from the Egyptian years that an old Egyptian queen put a curse to give to the enmities to kill them without one drop of blood. John Edwards - Democrat John Edwards was born June 10, 1953, in Seneca, South Carolina. Being the first person in his family line to attend college, he first attended Clemson University and then transferred to North Carolina State University, where he graduated with a bachelor 's degree in textile technology. This choice of avocation was due to his father 's career at a textile mill. However, he changed his goals and went on to earn his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1977. John Edwards ' early legal career can be described as stunning, while his personal life can be described as a brave struggle in the face of tragedy.
For my self-trip I went to the Abraham Clark historical house. The Clark house is located in Roselle, NJ on 9th Avenue. Who is Abraham Clark? Well I didn’t know the answer to this question until today. Abraham Clark is New Jersey’s delegate for the Continental Congress.

Holmes is taken to the Colorado Mental Health Institute at Pueblo for supervision. The military is a way for individuals to help our country maintain its rights that we fought for. The person I decided to interview to write this essay was veteran, James Harris. When interviewing an individual of such, who was in the military, I was able to learn more about our country’s history. I became more aware that through the things that men similar to the man I interviewed did in the military, that they have helped improve opportunities in my community. They have allowed us continued freedom, protection of our rights that we fought for, and the advantages we receive for being a military community (Ft. Campbell).

James Holmes was the shooter of the Aurora movie theater shooting in 2012. He killed twenty-four people and injured one hundred and forty.

Much of the criminal activity that takes place today is heavily related to the lack of treatment for mental illness. According to the US National Library of Medicine, approximately 60% of shooter in mass shootings that took place in the United States after 1970 displayed symptoms of acute paranoia, delusions, and depression before committing their inhumane acts. I am sure that most of you are aware of the Sandy Hook shooting that took place on December 12, 2012. The perpetrator, Adam Lanza took the innocent lives of 20 students as well as the lives of 6 staff members at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. Lanza had displayed key signs of mental illness as young as the age of three.
