Jane Austen was a British author who wrote many novels like Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility. She was born in 1775. She was the seventh of eight children. She knew people who were wealthy, but she didn't grow up in a wealthy family. Her father was a clergyman and she grew up in a conservative family. Jane Austen had a variety of personal experiences and personal relationships that she incorporated into her many novels.

Jane and Cassandra became the best of friends. But Jane often felt that her older sister was better than she was and that Jane didn’t measure up to Cassandra in many ways. This experience that Jane had was similar to how one of her characters felt in Sense and Sensibility. In many of her books like scents and sensibility,northanger abbey,and pride and prejudice many of her characters Mary clergyman (Myer). Mr. Collins is a clergyman and the cousin of Mr. Bennet from pride and prejudice. I guess clergymen were important people in Jane's life so she incorporated them in her books. Jane's austen's characters in her novels were the same age as her when she wrote them.
From her humble beginnings to becoming one of many famous authors in England. Her family, friends and love experiences helped her on her way to becoming a famous author by helping her get ideas for her, novels even through the hard times. Like her love life,her relationship with her sister, and her brothers, dad and cousins as they were clergymen. My thesis proves that she was inspired to write about her life and then share it with the world even if they don't realize. They made movies about her books and even her life called Becoming
