Jane Austen i think is one of the best authors of all time. She has wrote many influential books. These books have been rewritten and made into movies over the years. Jane Austen was an English novelist. She wrote romantic fiction novels. Her first book was “Northanger Abbey” she wrote this in 1798-99. She was in her early twenties when she wrote this. “Northanger Abbey” is supposed to be a comedy. It’s about a young girl that has to learn how to separate fantasy from reality. When she first wrote the book the name of it was Susan. This was published in 1803 it didn’t really sell but later I her brother republished it. It was named Northanger Abby in 1817 after her death. Austen was still working on finalizing the book when she passed in 1817. This novel was published by her brother after she passed, Henry Austen. Persuasion is based on having second chances, doing better, society’s, and the constancy of love. Soon after, Henry wrote a novel telling the world of his sisters life, true dedication to her authorship, and her untimely death.

Jane Austen was born on the 16th of December in 1775. In the town Steventon, Hampshire, England. She did not known that in time, her comic novels of crazy love, would become very successful 1869. Austen was the baby of seventh child and the second daughter of Cassandra and George Austen. Her parents were well known respected around the community they grew up in. The family was a very close and Jane, along with her siblings were very smart they’re parents where very big believers on their education. While the kids were young, they were suggested to read in their father’s extensive library. The kids would read books and put on plays for their parent. Jane was really close to her father and older sister Cassandra. Jane and Cassandra would one day write a book together. Jane was sent to boarding school when she was young., Austen caught typhus when she left. Jane nearly died from this illness. In 1805 her dad got really sick then later that year he had died. After her dad died there wa no one to take care of the family. They were women so they didn’t have jobs or a way to make money. The lady’s Jane, Cassandra, and their mother, moved from place to place, jumping between homes of various family members to rented flats. In 1809 they found somewhere to stay with their own stable living arrangements. They lived with one of the 5 sons, Edward let them live in one of his cottages in Chawton. Jane was now in her 30’s. She started anonymously publishing her books in 1811-1816. In 1816, Jane was 41. She started to get really sick with what some say might have been Addison’s disease. She tried really hard to continue working at a normal pace, editing older works as well as starting a new novel called The Brothers. That was published after her death as Sanditon. Jane got so sick that she decide to put her writing on hold. Her life then ended on July 18, 1817, in Winchester, Hampshire,
