By Lucien James – Wever
Opening paragraph.
This term our class have been comparing and finding the similarities and differences between Australia to our chosen Asian country. My Report will be comparing Japan to Australia.
Location, population and landmass. Japan is located at the coordinates 36.28165° N, 139.0773° E and landmass size 377,835 km 2. However, this is very insignificant compared to Australia’s size of 7.692 million km2. The coordinates of Australia are 25.58524° N, 134.5041° E. Even though the landmass of Australia is huge compared to Japan, Japan has a bigger population density. with a whopping 336 people per kilometer compared to Australia with 3 people per kilometer. there is also an enormous difference in the population with Japans population of 128,057,000 compared to Australian population of 24.64 million. Australia and Japan have the same amounts of regions.
States, territories and regions.
