There are a lot of questions to consider when looking into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Many people have their own theories to what had happened on that infamous day in November of 1963. President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dallas Texas. The Warren Commission Reports state that there was a single shooter who fired three shots. Theses shots were fired by Lee Harvey Oswald. This was all supposed to happen from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository of which Oswald worked. There is considerable evidence that calls into question both theories. The Warren Commission theory says that one shot completely missed the President’s limo and the entire street. They say it did however hit the curb and knock a piece of concrete or bullet fragment out. The fragment came up and hit a spectator names James Teague. The Warren Commission said that the first bullet to strike President Kennedy struck him in the back and exited through his throat just below his adam's apple. The bullet then dived down and hit Governor Connally who was sitting in for of President Kennedy. This bullet shattered four ribs, smashing wrist bones, and plowing into the thigh of Governor Connally. After going through both President Kennedy and Governor Connally the bullet came out in pristine condition. The bullet was supposedly found on Governor Connally’s stretcher at Parkland Memorial Hospital. It was later matched to Lee Harvey Oswald cheap mail ordered rifle. According to the Warren Commission the third and final shot was that shot that Oswald fired from behind the President and was the fatal shot that ended the President’s life. The Warren Commission needs the single bullet theory to prove that Lee Harvey Oswald was the only shooter that killed President Kennedy. People that witnessed the shooting or its aftermath oppose the single bullet theory. Witnesses understand that without this theory there would have to be two shooters. Governor John Connally always thought that he was struck by the first shot and that a separate bullet struck President Kennedy. Nellie Connally the governor’s wife agreed with Governor Connally during her testimony.
